Clothing in Armor “CIA” has been tested and rated to protect the wearer against threats within the specified NIJ level of your vest; if you have questions about your vest’s rating, let us know.

No armor is 100% bulletproof. Among other things, specialized armor piercing bullets and ultra-high velocity rounds may not be stopped by armor. No soft body armor will completely protect against rifle or long gun ammunition. For protection against rifle threats. Always refer to your vest or jacket to determine the level of your armor.

You can test shoot your armor, but plan on immediately buying a replacement! Clothing In Armor products can withstand multiple hits, but wearing a vest that has already been shot is not recommended. We have shot one of our iiia products multiple times, but it is not worth the risk to wear a vest that has ever been shot. Stopping a bullet is serious! A single shot WILL damage your armor no matter how great it is, and that is a major safety hazard.
